That doesn't work. Everytime I set an appointment I have to choose the alarm, even if I have already set a default.

A potential enhancement that would be nice is the ability to jump to the launcher buttons directly with something like <option><rocker-down> or <shift><rocker-down> or whatever. When I have a lot of app'ts it takes many movements of the nav button to get to the launcher buttons (which limits their value).

Just a thought. Still, a very cool app!

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Sorry, but the files you send me were from PocketMirror, you said you might send me the built-in datebook file from home, but I did not get none...

    Thanks !

You mean you set a default in 2day ?
That's strange - what version of 2day are you using ?

    Shimon,

Is there any chance that of getting 2day to be able to pop up over other apps, the way that clockpop5 does? Thanks for all of your work on this. Takephone and 2day are already among my favorite and most used applications (especially Takephone... its a work of art).

Thanks, 2 of the best apps for our T 600! One question, while in 2day I press any key and it takes me to TakePhone, which is exactly what I want, only problem is the Takephone screen is from the previous session and the key I pressed to get there hasn't registered as my starting point for my search in TakePhone.

Not a big deal but thought you would like to know

The "2dayPop" is on my todo list, but it is a job that will require a great amount of work & debug (cause it's like launching 2day in a "hack-like" manner which requires a lot of technical re-organization of code).

It will have to wait until after the release (the next version).

How do you have configured the "Letter/digits" start in 2day's "General" preferences ?

    Shimon

2Day is configured as follows: (*) Letters/digits = start search

when I hit any key it brings up TakePhone, but from the previous session. For example, if I were to hit the letter 'L", takePhone appears but but not with the letter 'L'as the first search parameter, I would have to hit 'L' once again.

    Trust this clarifies the example

    No, none are private.

    Shimon,

I sent you the datebook files. I hope you get it worked out. You are doing a great job.

2day 1.31 Beta (010). For example if I go to the menu and select "meeting" under alarn is says "no alarm" even if I just set an alarm deafult when I created a previous meeting.

I was a bit critical at first, and or I could say that I provided a few suggestions as to what I would have like to have seen added or changed with concerns to the program. I will say that with the new changes, I have truly started to like the program and see much more (continued) potential growth.

I like the simplistic nature of the program and enjoy the larger launcher icons at the bottom. It does seem to have a "cleaner" feel to it, as this was one of the issues I had with the earlier versions.

Kudos ... and Keep up the great work.

In using the Takephone demo, I really liked the ability to link an appointment with a contact, theyby allowing the user to hit the phone number associated with the contact while viewing the appointment/calendar. Now I am not crazy about Takephone as the basic treo contact manager seems to work fine for me ... again, I am from the school of thought that "less clutter" is better. All the features the program provides might be great for some people, but to me .. its just over complicating a simple function of the phone.

With all of this being said, as well as to bring this conversation back to the 2day software, my suggestion is this:

It would be great if you could somehow add a similar function of creating appointments from 2day and linking them if so desired to a contact in one's address book so that ... while viewing the appointment, one can easily call and/or perhaps send an e-mail to the contact in question ...

    Is this even possible?

I think a added component such as this really plays into the desired function and purpose of the program.

You pressed the button "Set as default" in 2day when you have an alarm set ON ?

You already have that option (sort of) - when you create a new meeting - tap/press the "Lookup" button, and you can locate a phone/email from the address-book.
