I've seen that as well. Last time I saw it was in TAKEphONE and I also had a text message. After reading that, the text message count went to zero and the forwarding icon went away. But getting another text message didn't make the forwarding icon return.

    Very weird...

    Hi,

You mean you saw the forwarding icon in TAKEphONE (the blue arrow), and it was not displayed in the PHONE app at the same time ?!?!?

yes, if i go to default phone screen there is no forwarding icon, then if i go to takephone i see the icon, if i go to 2day the icon flashes then goes away, go back to takephone still there, only way to get rid of it on takephone is if i hit icon and it takes me to preferences screen which it shows cfwing off.. then if i go back to takephone it is not there, seems it happens when i receive a text message and do not check text message, still have the alert bell in the cornor, treo 700p

newest version of takephone n 2day, beta

I didn't look at the default phone app. In TAKEphONE I saw the blue arrow and I pressed it. This took me to the preferences page which said that forwarding was NOT enabled. I then went back to TAKEphONE and the arrow was still there. For me, it only went away when I clicked on the text message icon, read my one new text message, and then went back to TAKEphONE.

Just downloaded the most recent beta, 055, with call fwding feature. Unfortunately, this is a bit buggy with my Alltel 650. Alltel has disabled SEVERAL of the phone prefs, including the call forwarding feature. So, if I'm in 2Day and press menu f, it will first take me to my contacts beginning with "f," then when I press cancel, it will show the phone prefs screens, sans call fwding and all the other nice features it would be nice to have but Alltel feels "unnecessary" (actually, they charge extra for the call forwarding feature, so this may be why it's disabled).

    Hi all,

This forwarding issue is very strange.

Can you all tell me what device you're using ? on what carrier ?
And would you run test builds for me ?

    Thanks.

I have a 700p on Sprint (CDMA). I would be happy to run a test build. However, I can not reproduce this reliably. In fact I have seen it twice, but I have no clue what caused it and I'm not sure exactly what made it go away. But I will put on a test build and _IF_ it happens again, I'll be happy to tell you what I see.

Since I put on the Palm daylight savings patch most (but not all) of my 2Day appointment times are 1 hour too early. The strange thing is that they are correct when I view them in the native Palm calendar application! For example 2Day shows appointment at 10:00AM but if I simply cycle through the views until I get to Palm calendar views the appointment shows correctly at 11:00AM in all the Palm views.

I notice the same but only for appointments that have a time zone set. Further, if I uncheck the Time Zone setting in the 2day Calendar preferences then the appointments appear correctly. Not sure that I understand what the Time Zone setting in 2day does.

I spoke too soon. barlowg is correct. From the attached screenshot you can see that my time zone is PST and the first two calendar entries, with time zones set, are appearing one hour early. The other calendar entries, without a time zone selected, do appear correctly.

I was having the same problem as barlog....all of my appointments were right in Outlook but 1 hour early in 2day. I actually checked the "timezone" box in preferences in 2day and it adjusted everything to the righ time (I think).

    Hi,

Got this message box when opening 2day (see attached screenshot). What does it mean that DST starts and ends on the same day?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

This means there is defected DST information in that record - DST cant start and end on the same month.

How was this record created ? in 2day ?

Ahhh, the wonders of software. My 2Day entries are now back in synch with the Palm Calendar. I did nothing. I changed nothing. Makes me wonder what the Palm DST fix reall was - especially for the immediate period surrounding the actual roll forward of the clock. Anyway, you can take me off the list of folks whose entries are currently incorrect. Thanks.

    They did it programagically.

It was all just a ruse to detract attention from the lack of any substantial updates.
