    Life Timer (minutes): 12,171
    Life Timer (hours): 202.85
Life Data (kilobytes): 1,220,090 (much fantasy baseball score checking!)
    Warranty Date: 11/15/2003

    Okay here's mine!

    Life Timer (minutes): 33736
    Life Timer (hours): 562.27
    Life Data (KB): 2,864,469
    Life Data (MB): 2797.33 MB

Activation date is 10-20-2003 so that means about 316 days? (someone correct my math here)

    That would mean 8.85 MB/day!!!

I'm glad I have unlimited vision! Now lets see some one beat that!

If I had this functionality on my VZN phone, I would gladly play this game !!!

Anyone know how to get the Master Subsidy Lock code?
  7. #47
just upgraded the GSM Int-Treo to 3.05

    software: 1.2-ROW (something like that)
    min: 1

it was zero min. i got the phone on 4/23/2004 and I am sured I used more than a 1000 mins on treo already. i wonder if the upgrade firmware erased the old life timer.

Ok, so yes it's only my second post, but I think I MAY have something to offer here. I may stand corrected, but I believe that on CDMA phones such as Verizon and Sprint, that when you type in the operator codes such as #786#, the data shows up as soon as you hit that last # sign. On the GSM models, you have to enter #*786, and then hit SEND like you would any other call. Maybe everyone knew that, but I tried to make sure there wasn't a mention of it here before I posted. Who knows, maybe I am blind.

The second thing I have to add is that I believe the Treo is Flash ROM memory. By that, I mean that once you install the upgrade, and do a HARD reset, the upgrade is still there, correct?

If that is the case, then doing that Flash ROM upgrade to the newer version of Palm OS would in fact erase the life timer and replace it at zero...it is essentially deleting EVERYTHING from your Palm and replacing it from square one.

Please, someone correct me (politely, if you mind) if I am wrong, ok?

    Cheers,
    Brady

On CDMA models you have to hit ##786 dial.

I do not know about the ROM update effecting the timer. I did the update immediatly after getting this Treo.

    Time to resserect this thread.

    Activation date 11/13/04
    7341 minutes
    122.35 hours

7341minutes/265days=27.70 minutes per day. I cut my phone time down for a few months. Now it is back up to over 2+hours a day

My surfing is next to nothing since I just since up to my laptop and that doesnt go towards data usage

##786# on the PPC-6700. Will give you the info. Althought the 6700 has a fairly decent call timer screen built in.
