    A few notes:

    My Activation Date is blank.

The minutes, while impressive, are clearly wrong. I have a 300 minute plan (plus nights and weekends), and I hardly ever even come close. I think what is showing there has something to do with an error one month that caused me to receive a bill the size of War and Peace. I don't remember the specifics, but it was $400 or $500 high. I disputed before they had a chance to charge me, or, I should write, before they had a chance to try to charge me, as I didn't have enough in my bank account to cover it.

When on this RTN? screen, if I press menu, I have the option "Diagnostics", which toggles Passthrough enabled/disabled. Any idea what this does or for what it would be useful?

I believe passthrough is the ability to use it as a serial modem.

    Sixpack

I think your math is off on the HOURS part.

The code works with GSM phones; but you can't use TakePhone to dial - you have to use the native Treo dialer. On the other hand, GSM only seems to give limited info.

By the way...this is probably the most that I will get out of this Treo...
4 days ago my phone showed the "Network Search" symptoms and the New Treo replacement is on its way.
I hate giving up my Original Handspring Treo. Now, I am gonna end up with a PalmOne phone. Nevertheless, I am a proud Treo owner. So, hopefully, the replacement will meet my expectations!

I have to think that the Life Timer counts not only voice minutes but data minutes as well? Can anyone confirm or deny?

    Hi,

    On my Orange FR GSM:

Lifetimer 1470 minutes, No activation date.

What is the incidence of an update (reflash) on these figures?

On my other phone (V500) it puts everything back to zero...

    Bye,

    Ton

Activation date is blank but I know it was June 24th so thats bout 25 days

Average min per day would be 189 or 3.15 hours a day...wow I had no idea I talked so much

Average Data per day would be 5871.56KB a day or 5.73MB...I thought that would a be bit higher since I use pdanet quite a bit for downloading huge files

...nonetheless for only 25 days its quite a bit higher than I would have expected of those I only had vision for about 23 days and pdanet for only about 20 days. Still a great phone and very useful just just about everything. I've pretty much replaced my laptop

I finally got it, after having to turn in my phone for replacement. My replacement phone has FW:3.05 and when you type #*786, it shows the panel: RTN
