    Hi,

    Just posted a new build of the 6.00 release - some minor updates:

    Treo 600
    ========
    - Allow for manual dialing of numbers starting with a '+'.
    - Added an SMS button to speed-dial dialog to allow sending SMS
    to contacts in your favourites.
    - "Return after TAKEphONE calls" now returns to TAKEphONE only
    after OUTGOING calls initiated by TAKEphONE.
    - HotKeys (favourites) mechanism fix for working together with
    KeyCaps600.
    - Voicemail vibration alert - stop vibrating when volume up/down
    pressed.

    VisorPhone
    ==========
    - Fixed problems with incoming calls.

    2day
    ====
    - Some more tweeks for working with 2day (coming soon...).

    Thanks Shimon, but i was just full of hope that when I press the sms hard button from the (find) main TP screen (where I have the speed dial showing) and speed dial tab, the sms dialog will appear selecting the speed dial as the sms number.

    BTW I did update and I am clearly on 007 but I still dont get the sms dialog when editing a speed dial as the manual states

    Is the voicemail vibration alert configurable?

    Also, would it be possible for you to include Chatter in the selection of email clients?

    What do you mean by "configurable" ?

    Regarding Chatter - I'm afraid the developer has not implemented (yet) the "mail helper" mechanism defined by Palm OS.
    I think he is about to, but am sure if you (and others) approach him directly - it would help.
    (BTW - this will allow for integrating it into 2day, too)

    I'll certainly contact Marc about Chatter.

    Sorry I was unclear-- by "configurable," I mean, is the Vibrate feature automatic, or is it a user-enabled setting?

    Thanks.

    Why would you want it configurable ?

    Are you sure ? - I tested it on a real device ...
    Did you press them long enough ?
    Didnt you see a dialog "Hotkey X pressed..." ?

    My mistake, Shimon. I hadn't been holding the key down long enough.

    As to the voicemail vibrate, I'm just fine with it built in! Just wanted to make sure I didn't need to enable it.

    has anyone noticed with this build that TakePhone seems to start itself up automatically? while i was typing a text in sms, sms closed and TakePhone opened. i've even noticed that when i turn off my treo at the main launcher page, it is running TakePhone when i turn it back on (and no i didn't receive a phone call while my treo was off). also, i have snappermail setup to auto fetch my mail every hour and after it retrieves my mail, snappermail exits to TakePhone.

    At first I thought it was my imagination or something that I had done, but after installing the latest TakePhone version, I noticed this as well. Same thing happened to me while I was composing an sms.

    Edit: After writing this, I received an sms, and then began to reply to it. Takephone took over while I was in mid sentance. Then, after I pressed the "send" sms button, Takephone took over again.

    paulsjmail & dpwaters -

    If you are willing to help here - please download & install the attached utility.
    Then - once you have this issue again (returning to TAKEphONE while in SMS) - run this KeyTest utility, and tap the "Dbg log" button on the right.

    Let me know what you see...

    Thanks !!!
