    is there a way to download a voicemail left on my treo to my desktop?

    i don't think the voicemail is actually "on" your Treo, but on the server of your service provider. You could, however, use sound recorder and record the message as it plays, then download it to the desktop. www.infinityball.com

    Can this app (or any) also record phone conversations then? Have you used it?

    Can SoundRec record a call without using the speakerphone or is the mic recording just exteral sound?

    Sadly, it's simply the mic recording sound. You have to put it on speaker.
