I just got my first Treo 600 yesterday. I was just wondering if it's normal that the lit LCD image is aligned to the far left of the screen, which leaves a larger black border down the right-side of the screen as opposed to the left.

Is this the same with all Treo 600s? Or is there a utility perhaps that can align this?

    Thanks for any feedback!

Please search the forums. This has been asked and answered many, many, many times.

    Winebrat, thank you!

Indicator, I actually *did* do a search and didn't see it.

    John,

Some folks can't see that this is obviously your first post. Don't worry, most of us here are happy to help. Try the "search" feature before posting and you just might find your answer.

    Oh, and welcome!

Hey, thanks! I had the same question, but it didn't bother me enough (yet) to research it. I feel better now.

Usually you have to try more than one search - I came up with three threads in less than 5 minutes of searching by using the terms "side" and "screen":

    http://discussion.treocentral.com/sh...ht=side+screen

    http://discussion.treocentral.com/sh...ht=side+screen

    http://discussion.treocentral.com/sh...ht=side+screen

And I DID see that it was your first post, which is why I was quick to remind you that there is a VERY good search feature on this forum. And rather than use "it is my first post" as an excuse, I'm educating you so that the forum doesn't get flooded with repeat questions every day...

...and people wonder why lurkers tend to stay lurking....

Thanks for asking the question John, I was also unable to find the answer. Now I know.

one other thing you should know, when the asterick pops up in the upper left hand corner you missed an alarm, not that the treo will blow up.

...Then how about "educating" with a "welcome to the forum...", or "I see this is your first post, let me offer you a suggestion...". To be fair Indicator did say please. Some are less polite. And being flooded with repeat questions as Indicator indicated can be bothersome.

Yeah - no offense or insult was intended. Common Board/Forum etiquette always says - "Search first, ask second." If these folks didn't know that before, now they do.
