i've got a roll out of CDMA treos and now my users need to travel to europe a lot and obviously CDMA isn't as big there. Is it feasible to buy a few GSM treos to use as loaners and have the users buy prepaid sim cards or use their own if they have them when on trips? will the hotsync information come through ok if you sync the cdma data onto a GSM treo before the trip and then back again when you're done?

Yes, you can. Prepaid sim card is everywhere and cheap. But don't expect can use it more than just for call. Data network is usually not available for the prepaid card, except in some countries. I know in Indonesia some prepaid can connect gprs network for data. But other Asian countries don't provide it
