Are there any apps that would enable me to quickly and easily check movie showtimes? I checked out moviefone.com's pda portal, but you have few options. I was hoping for an app that was like Directory Assistant or something, where you can specify a load of options, then it grabs the relevent data from a movie showtime website....is there any software like this?

    Thanks!!

I agree. This would be nice

Ideally I would like to see the Title only one time followed by showtimes, and a description/pic only If I choose to click the Title link.

MovieTitle (linked to description followed pic on the same page) showtime at aa, showtime at bb, showtime at cc, showtime at dd, etc etc.

Example (two letter abreviations are calculated based on my pre-selected choice of theaters)
MovieTitleOne 550 SP HW DM; 600 HW; 715 HW DM
MovieTitleTwo 100 SP DM; 215 OB

If they were listed in order there would not even be a need for AM vs PM but then there are many ways to do that. The point is that each movie only needs to be listed once, not 4 times (once for each theater). This sway it's real easy to look down the list of times and see what posibilities exist when. When you are already on a tiny screen, it only makes sense to do it this way.

Why movie sites can't figure out how to do that is beyond me.

Well, I use Vindigo for movie listings. www.vindigo.com Maybe not what you are looking for, but it does make it easy to find a movie time for a theather in your area. Obviously you have to sync to keep the information current...

I just use the movies.yahoo.com website for my zipcode. It's somewhat slow to load, but it contains detailed data for numerous movie theatres and movies for miles around. I saved the site as a bookmark to easily locate without wading through several pages.

Hey Corey, how do you like Handmark Express? I'm interested in it but they don't have a trial.

Where did I say that I liked Handmark Express?

In fact, I don't like it at all.

Yes, they do have a trial which is how I know that I don't like it.

Why pay for something that is already out there for free and is better than what they are charging for?

Because it's only one theater. We have three theaters that we frequent. I would also like the link to take me to a pic/description. I'm sure something will come along eventually. I do like that site though as a text solution if I only had one theater I frequented. It's the switching back from theater to theater looking for the best movie at the best time that I wish I didn't have to do so much. Other than that, it's a great pick.

I'm not finding the trial either. Can you point us in the right direction?

    So make three links:

    Longmont

    Westminster

    Loveland

I mean, damn... what do you want for free!

Different results for movies? Huh, I can only seem to find one result with the movie name and zip code.

I got a little obsessed and searched out some more...

    http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/dt...bosnation0e-20

This has got reviews, poster of the movie, etc. If only they had a radius setting!!!

    Here's Hollywood.com's:
    http://www.hollywood.com/avantgo/

They have a radius setting, but you can't search by movie title!
