    Can someone help?

A client gave me a barely used unbranded T600 that was on the T-mobile network. I popped in my Sims card for AT&T and although the T-mobile emblem popped up, it searched for service and picked up AT&T. I tried to upgrade the firmware to AT&T and the screen said incompatible. Any ideas/suggestions?

    This is the product info:

    Firmware .02.09

    Software Treo600-1.06-INT

You can either use the other carriers update. It's labeled ROW.

If you want the AT&T firmware you need to use tokenwriter.
You would type "write crnm AWS" in tokenwriter.

    Check mytreo.net for tokenwriter.
You may also want to check the FAQ located there as well.

I had this same problem. I have an unbranded Treo 600 and was not able to use the AT&T update. Last week, while I was a T-Mobile customer, I was able to use the T-Mobile update as well as the ROW update, so not sure why AT&T didn't work. Every time I did it, I would downgrade to 2.09 and then upgrade. I'm on ROW version and it works fine. I just thought perhaps the AT&T version would be better, though I doubt it.
