I have the Sprint replacement program, and the speakerphone on my "original" phone seems to be getting worse. It takes about 10 pounds of "finger pressure" on the speaker to stop the crackling. However, I'm concerned about getting a "re-furbished" phone as a replacement.

    Any thoughts? Thanks!

If you do replace it, why not get a warranty replacement instead of using Lockline? A defective speaker should qualify as a warranty replacement and it won't cost you $35.
