    Howdy,

some weeks ago i read in the forum that i'll get a license for Pocket Tunes if i register my Treo 600 with Palm. Already did that but unfortunately i got no Pocket tunes license. Does anyone know what i have to do to get it ?

    Thanks, Martin

After registering your Treo on the Palm One web site you should have been presented with a link to download your free copy of Pocket Tunes.

Did you register via the Palm One web site?

Yea i filled out the registration but unfortunately there was no download link. After that i received an email but also without anything related to the license.

I'm not quite sure...perhaps i missed something after the registration ? Is there a way to download it after the registration was finished ?

    Thanks, Martin

I lost the link at one point too.

I simply called up Palm One customer care and explained that I had lost the link to download the free version of Pocket Tunes after registering my Treo. They e-mailed me a new download link.

    Give them a call.

I am having the same problem...

I was told to register at PalmOne for a FREE copy of P-Tunes, after re-registering three times it now tells me that I am already in their database. (No kidding)

I press the button to resend me the link and I get nothing.

I spoke with customer service and they assured me they would send it...never recv'd.

I called back and they refer me to Sprint or P-Tunes.

Is this a running newbie gag or something.

My trial of P-Tunes runs out in two days.

    Any advice?!?!?!?!

    Bump-
Same problem here... I've registered twice, and have yet to get my free pocket tunes registrations or download email. It is a bit frustrating, because I put the regular pocket tunes on, and it gives a popup nag screen every time it starts. This means that Butler and Technician also don't work, because instead of playing the mp3 alarms and ringtones, they pop up a nag screen. Plus PT is gonna expire tomorrow. Anybody have a fix or workaround?

Ok...here is the deal...I re-registered using a Yahoo account email address and I got it. I guess their mail does not get past Bellsouth filters (only hardcore porn and fraud gets through).

Also, now I understand Donald's comment...they only give you Basic version 2.3.2.

    What a lame FREE gift...but what'd I expect, right.

Donald - can you be more specific...why should I shell out the $24-$28 for the 3.0 Deluxe version? Besides the obvious...WMA files.

Is the Shoutcast reception any better...that is my biggest compaint.

    Your opinion is appreciated.

Some programs that require PT's, require you use the Deluxe version and will not work without it.

I registered but did not receive the email with the product link. i attempted a second registration, but was notified that I had already registered. However, there was a phone number on that page. I called, and had them manually email the link.

I am now listening to music on a registered 2.x pTunes.
