It's my understanding that I can now use a car kit for my Sprint T600. Can someone direct me to the site for ordering it? Thanks in advance!

After the upgrade, it appears my "sync" is less reliable. The error I get is that it loses connection between the handheld and desktop. It will always "start the sync" but sometimes doesn't finish completely with that error.

Anyone else see this? This is the only problem I have seen. I wonder if I need to re-run the update (which ran fine).

After the 1.20 update, the screen will turn off automatically after the set time (even when plugged in). It will no longer stay on (forever), when in the charger.

Maybe I am the only one, but after upgrading to 1.20, I only have one noticed problem. When in the SMS application I click on Quicktext and try to scroll to the next page of quicktext templates and my treo resets.
Does anyone else have this problem?

Seems to have worked fine, except for one thing: my contacts are only partially in alphabetical order, and the rest are chronological based on when I input them. To be more specific, all of those that I migrated over from my Treo 300 several months ago are still in alphabetical order...the rest are listed in the order in which I input them. This is very annoying. (And yes, I did go to the menu and select "list last name first" or whatever is says.

Anybody else have this problem? You'll have to scroll to the end of your contacts to see for sure, I think.

I just checked my contacts and they are in alphabetical order. one thing wrong that I noticed was that only the scroll up icon in the lrhc of the screen works. The scroll down icon just flashes the screen. does it do the same on yours?

Upgraded without a hitch (so far) but when trying to set up the mail program, my user name (which is my entire email address in my case - myusername@mindspring.com) is too long for the form, and won't enter properly. Anyone else have this problem, and if so, have you fixed it? How? I lothe calling tech support for this kind of thing...

    Thanks for the help!

My contacts scrolling is working fine, though it's not a smooth scroll down - it's a little flashy when scrolling, but the entries actually do move...

Overall I've been extremely happy with the upgrade - the process worked fine; the camera does seem to be better, though if you leave it in the dark long enough you'll get the blue dots of death. I've noticed this because I've played with video recording all day today - I'm surprised how much the audio and video-with-audio recording has made a difference - I don't even want to put it in my pocket anymore for fear of needing to shoot a quick video or record the kids saying something cute.

Speakerphone seems better, as advertised. I've had quite a few resets today, but I'm blaming that more on the use of Audacity and MovieRec (which seemed to be the culprits) rather than the upgrade.

I did have to delete the Mail app (using the standard delete function - no hard resets, no FileZ, etc.) in order for the new ROM-based version to take over.

Floyd - are you sure the username is too long, or is it just scrolling poorly? I've noticed in some apps, including Mail, something that scrolls just shows the right hand characters unless you actually select the field and move back to the left...

Update finished without a hitch. (i don't understand why so many people are havin so many problems, even with TreoButler installed). By the way, don't even think about updating without a backup utility installed. Been playing around with Audacity for about half a day. Great app! Next will be the video app...

Also, is it me or is ivyrose cute as heck?!

Not sure what I was looking at, but it does not auto-switch off when plugged in. It does work the same as before the update. This could also be related to my "sync" problem. Maybe the unit wasn't plugged in properly.

So far - no problems from the "update".

    One quick trick I found.

I took my "backup" directory on my PC and made a copy of it. I then sync'd etc... If I have a problem and I lose my Calendar or anything like that, I do a "hard reset" and before syncing, copy my "backup" of the backup directory "back" to the backup directory (I hope this made sense).

Worked like a charm. So even if the update routine lost data, I had a way to get it back on.

Did the update with no problems, just followed the instructions. No issues so far.

What am I doing wrong, I'm trying to do a hard reset by holding the power button down and pushing in the tip in the back and no hard reset. It repowers but the files are still there.

I know this seems simple, but it's not simple for me to do. Should I be doing something different?

    Thanks

On vacation in Fort Myers Beach.

Could not wait to do upgrade.

Used PDANet to downloan firmware upgrade.

    Upgraded my Treo600 and my wife's Treo600.

Both worked flawlessly (using Backupman to restore apps).
