My friend's Nokia has the ability to ring and vibrate for an incoming call.

Anyone know of a workaround or piece of software that can do that?

It's rare that I post this, but this is sooooo RTFM.

Of course a Treo 600 is capable of doing this!
In the phone application use menu/option/Sound Preferences : Toggle Vibrate on (For Sound Mode On)
And your Treo 600 is better than your friends Nokia.

Wow...I had no idea RTFM was such a "universal" expression. I've used it since the mid 80's.

I sell cellular phones and always chuckle when girls ask which phones vibrate

There used to be a program that did this but apparently they took it off of cnet.com. I used to always wonder what type of sick individual would download this program, USE IT, and then let a friend use their phone! Oh... and while I am at it... RTFM! And the ID-10-T form brought back some military memories!

I would have RTFM if I had a FM to read as I did not get one when I bought my T600.

Thanks to those who did reply.

QUESTION: How do you NOT get a manual when you buy the t600?
QUESTION II: How do you NOT know where to get the PDF version?

It was probably better not interjecting any further... I'd let us have our fun since you threw yourself (oh so willingly) under the bus... Give us a few hours and we will have another newbie to move onto...

Fair enough. I'd have given you a decent answer if you had included that piece of information with your original post.

A quick look at the Palm website reveals an online manual for the Treo 600:
