    This seemed interesting. Record TV shows directly to and SD card (128 megs = 2 hrs) without a computer. I wonder what the file format is...and if we could watch it on the 600?

    I would consider this if the price was right, sony has had a similar device available for the magic stick format, you can see by clicking this link. $299 is a little steep for this functionality, but for <>$99 maybe?

    Note: I followed your second link and the price is listed as 20,000 yen using the current conversion rate that is roughly $181 much better than sonys $299 but still too high as far as I'm concerned

    It records 3GPP streams. You'll need to us an app like Riverpast to convert them. You can read a more detailed post here
