It is unacceptable that there is no support for Bluetooth SD card on the Treo 600 yet. It has been half a year since it came out. Longer than that since PalmOS 5 came out. Does anyone know what the deal is?

I think that companies do not think that it is economical to develop a Bluetooth card for Palm devices because every single palm requires a different driver (for the most part.. a driver for a tungsten will not be the same as one for a zire, and nothing like a driver for a Treo)

If this is the case, is it because of PalmOS5 and does PalmOS6 change this?

I don't know if OS6 will change this, but it's possible.

Check out this engadget story about pretec and their new line of sd/cf cards. It doesn't go into much detail, but it mentions a SD BT card, and in a different sentence talks about Palm OS support. Nothing to get too excited about, but its something to keep an eye on.

I guess I will hope the new Treo has BT built in. I am not happy about it though.
