yeah i would have them forwarded to an account that allows pop3 access. thats the easiest way to do it. unfortunately yahoo and hotmail charge for pop3 access but there are alot of free email accounts out there that do have that...

break out a google search.... when you find a good one, you might want to look into the max file size they allow for attachements ( i noticed you said you wanted to access files )

then just use the free email app that came with the treo and you're golden

    good luck!

right right. If you read the thread, MaxGator asked about accessing his roadrunner account or something - one he could forward to a pop3 account. It deviated from the original gmail discussion.

I'm a gmail beta tester and I sent them an enhancement request and their response says:

We are currently working on many new features to improve the Gmail
service, and we look forward to announcing these enhancements to all users
as they become available. Some upcoming features we are excited to
    announce are the following:

    - Automatic forwarding of your email to another account
    - Plain HTML version of Gmail

Both of these would help it work in a Treo world.

I have a couple of Gmail beta test accounts and I gave some invites to my friends. Currently, Gmail does not work with any of the Treo 600 browsers: Blazer, Web Pro or Reqwireless browser. Until they come up with HTML only version of their web mail, Treo 600 users are stuck!
