If you are bothered by very long URLs that you want to transfer from your computer to your Treo, this 'trick' might be helpful. At http://tinyurl.com/ you can paste a (long) URL (for example from looking up driving directions) and you get a really short one back that can easily be transfered to the Treo. Instead of http://discuss.treocentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=58 (which is not really that long) you only have to type http://tinyurl.com/2mcgh and since blazer remembers/guesses URLs after the second time you only have to change "2mcgh".

Do they keep these URLs working forever? Can I use that same URL a week/year/decade later?

    In theory, yes:
