    I know that this echo problem with handsfree has been discussed elsewhere, but I'm new and lazy.

    Is there anyone on here from the UK that has had any luck getting upgrades, to tackle the echo problem with their phone, out of Orange?

    eh..... No.
    Orange told me two things :

    1) No echo problem exists
    2) No updates exist for the phone.

    So that's sorted that one out then.

    I downloaded and applied the 2.08 update that has been mentioned here, I certainly felt the echo was reduced... directly from Orange I've never tried, I would probably have to send in the phone etc, takes too long.

    Do you have the link for the update, I thought it was only for Sprint in the US?

    Typical response from a help desk.

    I get V. bad echo if I use the handset in speaker phone mode. ie by pressing the space bar.

    If I had been on the phone to Orange I would have just hit the space key and then said " well what do you call that".

    Don't get me wrong, I really like my Treo, but I hate getting the run around from "help desks"
