Anybody know of a way to get the day/time to appear on the system lockout screen... the screen that first pops up when you have a security password set? It would be nice to see what time it is without tying in my damn password first!

I found the app TealLock which accomplishes this, but it is a very robust little app and I was hoping for a simpler method.

Do a search for ClockPop5 or KeyGuardTime. Both are free and have slightly different functionality. Good luck.
