    George,

The update has been floating around the message boards from time to time. Do a search through this group on the "firmware update". I bet you find it, but it may take a bit of digging. Let me know if you have a problem and I can perhaps track it down again.
I did notice a big difference in my connection speed once installed. Well worth it and it's painless!

I'm not sure if my is generic or not. The only T-Mobile specific info is in Prefs/Network. No T-Mobile logo or anything else to indicate TMO or not (I haven't tried a foreign SIM yet)
    Anyways, it has:

    firmware 2.12
    Software Treo600-1.11-INT
    Hardware: B
    Shipped April 1

if you have not found it, i believe it is the URL for the firmware upgrade:

Received mine a few days back,
    Firmware 02.12
    Software: Treo600-1.11-INT
    Hardware: B

Now if only someone could tell me how to get the handsfree to work so I don't have to send it all the way back to the US..... I plug it in, and nothing happens. Sound still comes out the main speaker when on a call (or rear speaker when playing MP3s). Makes it kind of difficult to use the Palm functions (calender, etc) while talking on the phone.
