Six Apart demonstrated a beta version of its client for
the Handspring Treo 600, the first of several mobile clients that will be available for or integrated into a broad range of PDAs, cell phones and smart phones, making moblogging an even simpler, one-click operation. The company
expects to announce mobile clients for several more mobile devices soon, all
of which will allow full and easy integration between the device and moblogs
created using TypePad and Movable Type.

Has anyone heard any additional information on the beta for the Treo 600?

They don't claim that it will be easier. In the press release they say that their new product will "allow full and easy integration between the device and moblogs created using TypePad and Movable Type" which doesn't mean the product will be easy to use. This looks like an integration solution which could be more streamlined, but will probably require an amount of technical savvy in order to take full advantage of the product's possibilities.

It is, nonetheless, sort of exciting.

    edit: check this out.

Oh ho! thanks for posting this! I am very excited. I'm currently using MT and MFOP2, and it works very well, but it would be neat to have it be integrated!

BTW: TextAmerica is nice, but with an MT blog you have complete control over comments, look and feel, etc. That's why I switched to the more complicated solution. Hopefully, it won't be more complicated for long.
