Wow I forgot about this site. Just so the guy doesn't get bombarded with make this for me and what not, you can click on the above link and make it say whatever you want. Yes, it's a computer voice, but it's funny to make it say whatever you want. You can save it in a wav file.
I created a link, now how do you get the newly created voice message on to the Treo?

    Thanks

Right click on the link and select "save target as"

Then save the file to your computer.

Then open up the Palm install tool and drag the wav file into it. The wav will then be installed on to your SD card (by default.)

Thanks! I knew it would be something simple, but I was stomped just the same.

The voice alerts are great, but I have a question--is there any way for them to be made into MIDI files and posted on a site like Treo600Essentials for us to easily download and install?? I would rather keep my alerts and sounds 'native' rather than having to buy a new app and load up MP3s as alerts. Thanks in advance for advice and assistance, especially from the Treo600essentials folks.

Midi files are music (limited instruments) only. No voices, unfortunately. Think of MIDI as a sheet of printed music to be fed into a player piano, and MP3 as a recording with an orchestra and vocalists.

How about one for SMS & Email?

SMS: *Chime* "You have an incoming Message"
Email: *Chime* "You have incoming Mail"
    Agree!

How about just a plain old copy of the famous "You've got mail!" that says something like "You've got a text message!"

Could also be followed up with a "You've got an appointment!"

Provoice - anything you could help us with? ;-)

    Hi Mendi,

Tried to PM you for beta test but your mailbox was full.

If you're still looking for beta testers, I would be very interested.

If you could, please e-mail me at chow@ckinternational.com and I will provide you with the rest of the details. FYI- I reside in Malaysia and use a Treo600 GSM on Maxis' GSM network here.

    Thanks.

Sorry about that...I didn't know there was a limit on saved PMs. Thanks for letting me know. I'll send an email to you now (and delete all of my old PMs!).

Did the above, hotsynced the file to the sd card, but the file is not showing up on the card or in the Pref, Sound section on the Treo.

    Please advise.

This one sounds real good on the Treo. Wish I could find a similar one for "You've got mail".

I got the LWave loaded and the Wav file on it, but how do I get it to work with my Email program?

When I go to Prefs, Sounds, the Voice message I created is not there. I also tried to see if there was a setting in the Lwave program to set it, but haven't figured it out yet.

    Please advise

    Thanks
