I also had the same issues with Best Buy a while back. My Treo 300 not only broke once, but twice (screen problems). I had the service plan and the first time they replaced it. The second time took some fighting and pushing, but they finally upgraded me to the 600 and I had to pay some difference (about $150) to get the new phone because they no longer carried the 300.

I spent a great deal of time and trouble going back and forth to the store and dealing with three different managers whom all had different opionions and policy to pass on.

Bottom line!! Don't do business with Best Buy.. Stay away, put them out of business if possible.

I am also finding the Sprint service people via phone to be just as bad at servicing with upwards of 30-60 minute waits on hold before I hang up with no response.

But, I do love the 600.
