I'm just wondering what people's experience has been with the Treo 600 external keyboard from Handspring?

Does it emulate the 5-way rocker switch function? I'd like to be able to use it to take notes in meetings that would then be saved right along with the meeting entry in my calendar (I use Agendus).

Is there any software out there that expands on the features of memo function so I could do this more easily?

    Thanks!

Yes, the keyboard emulates all the keys on the Treo including the D-pad, the Center button, and Opt. The only real problem I've run into is that Blazer doesn't recognize the keystrokes. They get buffered, and as soon as you leave blazer the entire stream gets passed to whatever application you open next.

Not sure what you're looking for in terms of the memo function, however.

I like the keyboard a lot, and though I've read several places on this forum that everyone is having problems with it in blazer, I have yet to find anything wrong with mine at all (even in blazer). I'm using the one that was made just for the treo.

You can even charge your treo while it's on the keyboard, which I found very helpful.
