Like I said b4, my friend does this on his incredibly two-way pager, I know the treo also does this. sometimes I just dont wanna be bothered with the text messenging popups, especially if im showing someone something, like a pic, or browsing the web, etc, etc.

there have to be a way to stop this and get what you missed when ever you want.

Yes, it becomes really annoying if you're in the middle of one of those automated voice response systems and you are trying to key in the numbers or trying to adjust the network settings.

The most annoying part, from my point of view, is that it's Sprint sending all these !*#!#*@ popup ads. I've called about five times, and they keep saying they're stopping, and keep sending more.

There was an app for the Treo300 that did exactly what you want called "PBJTime". It worked in conjuction with Treohelper, but the developer, Potatoho, has not yet ported it to the Treo600 yet. This is how it worked on my old Treo300: A new sms would be recieved. Trehelper would recognize the sms according to specific trigger words that you define. Then according to the trigger, Trehelper would would give you the option of copying the sms to a clipbaord in the app called PBJTime, and then automatically deleting it thereby preventing the popup. You could also set the alarm prefs as required. Thus, you could then view the sms later on whenever you wanted. This one of the few apps that I sorely miss on my Treo300... Anyway, I suggest you petition Potatoho on the Treohelper thread to port PBJTime to the Treo600!
