    OK, ive figured out the size of the picture must be 160 x 120 pixels or it will stretch, ........
    BUT the actual viewable area is only 160x100 pixels.....20 pixels get cut off the image by the date/time at the top and nav at the bottom........but its not an even split...13pixels off the top and 7 off the bottom!. so i made a template with a mask in photoshop for you all to use:

    The size depends on how you have your Treo set up (if you show or don't show the navbar). It was discusses alot in this thread:

    Plus there are dozens of wallpaper images available there for download for any of you who don't want to make them yourselves.

    I read that post but those sizes werent correct, My dogs ears kept getting chopped off!
    so i made the template.

    Anyway, its a "safety zone" for everyone then, keep your image within the mask and your image wont be cropped.

    I didnt even know you could turn the nav bar off, how do you do that?

    From the phone screen:
    menu>options>display preferences>uncheck "Show button settings"
