Is it okay to upgrade to my Treo 600 from my Treo 300 by Hotsync-ing? If so, what should I be careful about when doing it?

The 600 comes with directions for upgraders in the manual. AIR you upgrade the desktop software, sync the 300, then sync the 600. The key was you have to use the T600 version of the desktop (from the included CD). It's all in the manual and goes pretty smoothly.

Going back over three months ago (can't believe I've had this thing that long and still enjoying it), you can search the threads regarding upgrading from the 300 vs. clean install. I went with the latter. You will encounter few problems, if any, when you start from a virgin 600 and only sync your PIM info, and install 3rd party apps one at a time. Good luck.
