    Hi all,

    I just did ##786 with my SPCS T600 for the first time and discovered that it shows a "warranty date" that is a little more than a month earlier than the date I activated the phone. Does anyone know what this might imply? Did this phone get activated by someone before it was sold to me? (BTW, I bought direct from a SPCS store here in NJ.)

    Thanks for any ideas!

    My warranty date is about a month before I bought mine, too. I think it's really a build date, programmed in at the factory. But make sure you save your receipt. I think Sprint is obligated under Federal law to warrant from date of sale.

    BTW, just curious: What are your software and hardware revs?

    Software Rev: Treo600-1.0-SPR
    Hardware Rev: C

    I purchased late Dec. 2003.

    Interestingly, I also just noticed that there is a line named "Activation Date:" and it is blank. Didn't notice that the first time.

    Yes. Mine is 2 weeks prior to the actual purchase (Software Rev: Treo600-1.0-SPR, Hardware Rev: C). Like "meyerweb", the best thing to do is to keep the receipt.

    Me = Nokia 5170/Palm III > Kyocera 6035 > Treo 600 > Treo 650 > Treo 700p > Treo 755p > Treo Pro > Palm Pre

    Wife = Treo 600 > Treo 650 > Treo 755p > Palm Centro > Palm Pixi
