    To have the unit stay on while it's being charged? My old Kyocera would do it, as long as I'd turn the backlight on before putting it on the charger.... besides, it makes a great night lite.

    i think it is with a hack called stay on hack: http://www.freewarepalm.com/utilities/stayon(h).shtml

    you will need a hack manager also. x-master is good.

    tried the link, but it didn't work. I even searched for some similar applications, but they don't seem to work with the treo.. arghh! Any other ideas i should try?

    the link is broken in the thread. it stops at the (h) for some reason.
