My Treo 600 order with Amazon.com has been backordered since December 14. I have hopes they will ship around January 20, but I've been afraid I would miss out on Sprint's $150 rebate (for a new two year contract) that had a deadline of January 19 for activation.

After talking to Sprint and Amazon, I've now been informed that the Sprint rebate deadline is now February 4.

I don't think my complaining actually had anything to do with the new deadline, but I'm happy to take credit for it, if you'd prefer.

You can still order a Treo for anywhere between $250 to $300 (depending on length of contract) on Amazon. For new Sprint customers only, unfortunately.
