    I just got done speaking with Handspring/Palmone and they told me that "it is highly suggested to keep a charger on the unit as much as possible and to try to avoid the battery power from nearing 20% capacity." My battery will not hold a charge anymore and won't charge at all. According to Handspring/Palmone, there have been many complaints about owners trying to cycle the recharging process of the Treo 600's battery by draining it completely and then rechargining it fully about 3 or 4 times. From experience, unfortunately, this has fried my Treo 600 and it will no longer charge nor turn on. Apparently killing the battery makes the phone do treacherous things to itself. So now I gotta return this useless thing and wait for a replacement which I probably won't see till the end of the month. Has anyone had similar nightmare experiences like this per the battery?

    Do you think the new firmware ate your battery faster?

    Me = Nokia 5170/Palm III > Kyocera 6035 > Treo 600 > Treo 650 > Treo 700p > Treo 755p > Treo Pro > Palm Pre

    Wife = Treo 600 > Treo 650 > Treo 755p > Palm Centro > Palm Pixi
