    Yep CameraLib is there now.

    PalmOne have updated the HSHeader zip (the date is the 5th Feb)
    Palm Vx -> Palm M505 -> Treo 180g -> Treo 600 (UK GSMrevA)

    Thanks man. I managed to find the headers in the libraries, and have finally been able to compile the camera sample code that Palm One has on the site.

    Unfortunately it is crashing the Treo when I run it.

    I'll post more when I get it figured out.

    So we should just need to figure out which of the ~100 register settings are pertinent to adjusting the overall performance (0x25 looks somewhat promising at a quick glance) and start fiddling! Right?

    But if the sample code is crashing...

    Code:
     UInt16 zz,xx=0;
       Boolean exists;
    	UInt32 gg;
    	UInt16 ww;
    	CharPtr cc,tt;

      err=SysLibLoad('libr', 'imgL', &zz);

      err=ImageLibOpen(zz);

     err=ImageLibPreviewStart(zz,FrmGetWindowHandle(FrmGetActiveForm()),1,10);

     err=ImageLibImageCapture(zz,false,false,false,0,0,&xx);

     err=ImageLibPreviewStop(zz);
    In this line

    Code:
     err=ImageLibPreviewStart(zz,FrmGetWindowHandle(FrmGetActiveForm()),1,10);
    i take the error number 36865

    and in this

    Code:
     err=ImageLibImageCapture(zz,false,false,false,0,0,&xx);

    Sorry I am a little late responding to this.

    I don't have a treo 650, but from what I have read, the imagelib and jpeglibs are only present for backward compatibility. I don't think the 650's camera app uses them. I think it uses a different set of libraries (probably ported from the zire, but I don't know).

    Have you downloaded the 650 developer kit? Do they provide a camera example?

    If you really, really want to use imagelib on a 650, let me know. I used to have a library that would fake out the camera when running on the windows simulator. You could download the 650 sim, replace the camera lib with my fake library, and then try to debug your problem in the simulator.
