J&R has the SD Ultra II 256 for ~59 after a J&R 15$ Mail in rebate. Not a bad deal for these fast cards.

    ronstoney,

Great find. This is the cheapest I've seen this card. The Ultra II is a lot faster than the regular card. Just ordered it.

    Thanks.

They sell regularly on ebay for about $65 plus shipping. Still, good find.

newegg.com also has this for $61 free shipping without any rebate.

EDIT: OOPS, Thanks for the correction, it is for CF card not SD sorry!!

This price is for the CF, not the SD...

Just got it in the mail today. 2 days, and I only paid 4.95 shipping.

You can mess with ebay, but you have to deal with end of auction responses, sellers waiting for payment clearance, mom and pop customer service.

Haven't tested the throughput yet on the treo...

Let me know how the testing goes. If it only takes 2 days, I might have mine tomorrow.

Great find....thanks for the post. Ordered mine on the 8th and it arrived today. Very fast performance. I can not tell a difference between the files being loaded from the Ultra II SD card or main memory.

Can someone please comment on how well these cards work with .mp3's? When pasting ten or more files onto my regular 256 meg SanDisk card, I've had problems with corrupted/nonreadable files.

I have over 40 mp3's loaded on my card without a problem at all. I pasted over 10 files each time trouble free. The performance has been very fast with no problems. This is a great card (IMO).

    thanx for the benchmark test!

If you have a regular SD card, do you mind running this app and post the results for it?

    TIA
