Has anyone gotten PiLoc to work on their Treo 600?

Unfortunately, with my Treo 600, I have the problem that PiLoc disables a certain important function. Whenever I have the case of a text entry field (like the bottom of the Chat screen in SMS), the focus can move between the buttons at the bottom (In the SMS example, the focus can move between "Done" "Send" and "Emoticons"), but the focus cannot go into the most important area -- the text entry field! Not by tapping the screen, and not by using the 5-way navigation button.

Anyone know a way around this problem?

I guess you are the third known Treo 600 in Israel.
The problem with PiLoc is that while you can read and write Hebrew, it completely disables the 5way navigation function.
I have exchanged a number of emails with the PiLoc people and they claim that sometime in the future they will have this bug worked out, but since localization software is enormously expensive to develop and they haven't gotten any cooperation from developers or importers here, the going will be slow. Could be that bad Hebrew support is better than none. I use PiLoc and then just disable it (an easy process) when I want to type a lengthy message.
I noticed that Kalanit has Palm OS 5 upgrades for some Palm devices. I wonder if they would work for the TREO.
Penticon is also in the works with a Palm 5 update for Hebrew+ . It is all a matter of time.

I just installed PiLoc Lite Hebrew and it seems to be working fine. It doesn't disable the 5way at all.

Still waiting for Penticon to come out with HebLite because I've paid for that one.

Hey - I am a Palm developer, I am a Hebrew speaker, and I live in Israel - maybe I can help them ?

(One small issue, though - dont have a T600...)

BTW - TAKEphONE supports searching in Hebrew, and the 5-way, and the treo 600...

Hi. I'm an American user who does tech support for a Jewish College. Our Vice President is dying to get his hands on a good Hebrew solution for OS 5. What would you recommend?

Well - if you arrange for me to have a Treo 600 device, I will do it...

Penticon sent me an email that Hebrew will be available by the end of this month (Jan) hopefully...

    That's VERY good to hear.

They're focused on Hebrew, so I would imagine it would work better.

Shimon, the dialer that you just put up on your website, thats suposed to go back to TAKEphONE after hangup, doesn't work... It goes to built in dial pad

Yes - I heard - it works great on a Treo 270, but I guess some debugging is required for the T600...
