The choise of default view really affects your ability to get around ....you baically have to choose the dial pad as the default view.....as there is no way to get back from favorites to contacts or call logs without weird menu commands ./J for contacts???Why ?

So Is there a way to......

    1. Have the Phone button cycle through the phone views (contacts/ Favorites/DialPad/Call Log) rather than just returning to the default view.

    2. In the Phone favorites view, normal typing of letters (not numbers) should switch to contacts and start searching.

    3. In the Contacts or Favorites views a hard button should take you to manual dialing (say 0-Alt which does nothing if your not in number or text entry mode)

Just my 2c worth...Im sure a few people will offer me change...

yes, like I was suprised that pressing the phone hotkey didn't scroll thru the views too. they could have it as a choice if you want it to stay in the last veiw, or default to the phone app.

Try TAKEphOne. It solves most of these problem and others. Also the developer provides great support.

takephone seems unnesesarily complex...and I cant get buttons to do the obvious things.....

Like highlight a phone number and dial!

Perhaps I need some more time playing with this appl.
