Pocket Tunes does not recognize my SD Card. It says..."Unable to play audio file: Couldn't find expansion card. Make sure it's inserted."

    - I formatted the SD card in my T600
    - I Hotsynced an mp3 file onto the SD Card (I also used card reader with same results)
    - I Used FILEZ to veryfy that the mp3 file existed on the SD
    - I did Soft Reset of T600

    Still not luck.

    Any other ideas?

    Ok...I fixed.

I just DELETED PocketTunes from T600 then reinstalled fresh version. I had previously only re-installed on top of existing version.

    1) Insert SD Card into Treo
    2) Run the "Card Info" application that came with T600
    3) Hit Menu button and select "Format Card"
    4) SD Card will be formatted and delete any data on the card
    5) To Install Pocket Tunes....just double click on PocketTunes.prc on your PC...this will add the application to your treo after the next Hotsync
    6) Hotsync
    Done!

Now...just install SD Card into Treo and run PocketTunes...assuming you have some mp3s on the SD.

I just installed Backupman (thanks to Millerhifi) after buying an SD card. Now, I want to be able to have acces to some of my oldie 45's while on the road. What is the easiest way to 'import' these tunes? Do I want to subscribe to some service? I don't know what 'streaming tunes' is or what an MP3 is for that matter. I have a CD burner but have never burned a song much less tried to put it on an SD card. Thanks in advance.

Your best bet would be to use Kazaa Lite to download the MP3 music files you want...then use an SD Memory card reader to transfer them onto the SD Card.
