I am getting a Treo 600 on Sprint with the PCS Vision Pro Pack ($15/mo.). Do i also need to get the Business Connections Personal Edition for an extra $5/mo. or is that feature included in the Pro Pack?

I have a POP3 email account with Earthlink and a couple (non-POP3) accounts on Hotmail and MSN. Is there a single email solution to read emails from all these accounts on my Treo? Snappermail doesn't seem to support reading Hotmail type emails.
(In Outlook XP, i use the HTTP account type to read Hotmail emails).

    Thanks for your help.

Just do a quick search on "hotmail". You will find lots of info. Here is one thread for starters. It should help.

Get a FastMail IMAP account from www.fastmail.fm (the smallest account is free and holds 10MB). Get Chatter from www.imchatter.com. Create a link to Hotmail from FastMail by following these instructions: http://www.fastmail.fm/docs/faqparts...m#NewPopServer

    That's it!

Is there a Fastmail link to retrieve Yahoo mail like there is for Hotmail?

In either case, is there a cost involved?

My fiancÚ has this problem with her Blackberry. Would this approach work for getting hotmail onto a BB as well?

There is no Yahoo link as yet.

There is no cost required. However, for a fee you can your Hotmail link polled more frequently, plus get more storage, better spam protection, etc.

You can use fusemail.net to link both HotMail and YahooMail to fusemail.net then IMAP to fusemail.net to get receive both emails. Works great.

Yep, even though I no longer use my Sidekick, I still linger at hiptop.com and found this tidbit. I think I'll give it a whirl.....

Not very much information provided in the "ABOUT" section for "WHO THEY ARE", just says they are "owned by a successful group of entrepreneurs with a strong technical background. We have an extensive history in the webhosting and Internet service industry." Hmm, yet they don't have a list posted as to who are their major clients posted??? But, I did find this information via GOOGLE

I went ahead and signed up and am digging this FuseMail thing....they even have an active Fusemail Forum -- like TreoCentral and the board and site admins appear to be very response and provided detailed information for problems that have come up. I'm impressed so far. There's also some type of MS Outlook plug in where you can get your contacts, calendar info to be accessible via FuseMail. I don't know how it works because I only have MS Outlook on my home PC. There was also mention of being able to FuseMail work-related email but it seems that it's only available via the Deluxe product (not a freebie), but so far for the free version it's working out from what I've seen briefly.

    I use http://www.fastmail.fm/ in conjunction with a Treo 600.

Fastmail's service and support are outstanding. I rarely recommend anything but they have an excellent e-mail service.

    Does fastmail offer SMS notification?

I use my internet carrier account using pop 3, just connect to the network and send and receive, besides you dont loose the same mails going to your pc.

Nomad - you are right on the dot! I am not sure why I need to go around in circles with Fastmail and Chatter. Aileron does it right with the support for attachments.

Corsoft provides a link: http://www.corsoft.com/check.asp to verify the access to your mailbox. If you can verify access there, then you can manage your mail from Aileron.

    Thanks Goodisi.

The msn/hotmail works great. http://mobile.msn.com/hm/folder.aspx? Except I don't think it has attachments capability.

But Corsoft Aileron costs $50 a year. Treo can't pick up emails via IMAP can it? Thought it only did POP3? So if I'm understanding it correctly we have to subscribe for $20 to Fastmail to get the POP access. And the only other option I've heard about is GopherKing which you also have to subscribe to - think it was $30 or 40. Hotpop does free POP but it doesn't pick up hotmail... This is driving me nuts....

    Try www.izymail.com.
I have two email addresses with them.
    costs $15 a year together.
Used it with my Ipaq... now i use it with Snapper.
