So this has happened 3 times now. What happened the first two times was, when I pressed a favorites key the Treo600 just died, it would not turn back on and when I plugged it into the hotsync/charge cable, I was able to start it up again, but it has gone back to scratch (as if the batteries had completely died). This last time it happened while it was in my pocket. Has anyone else experienced this? It's not the battery running out because once I have restarted it and unplugged it from the charger, the battery is quite full. I am thinking it might be a few freeware apps I have installed on it. Please give me any feedback you can. Thanks.

Activate the system error log by dialing ##377. It'll display what caused the last reset. Delete the offending apps.

I had this problem. I sent it back for a replacement and haven't had the problem yet. Check out this thread.

I have this problem now: http://discussion.treocentral.com/tc...503#post295503

I also installed some freeware apps and notice the Treo reset/crashes are occurring more frequently. I'm going to start uninstalling them. I installed most of the freeware apps to the SDIO 512MB memory card.

thanks for the help guys, I am hoping this is not a phone problem, I have the most recent version, the ones the just shipped out. Have had it for week. I am now going through the process of taking off my freeware apps and starting from scratch. About dialing ##377, it just starts dialing as if it is a phone call and nothing happens. Please help on this, the error log would be most useful. Thanks.

If it is a GSM phone, try dialing #*377 instead.
