Are they all the same? Is there one company that makes a better one (if so, what makes it better?) or should I just go cheapest?

I used to have WriteRights for Visor Deluxe, but haven't use a screen protector since. That's a few years ago.

There are a couple of screen protector reviews at http://treo600essentials.com/reviews/review_blog.html

I've used Writerights, and also used clear vinyl plastic. Now I use a Boxwave screen protector.

There is a big difference in quality, and price. I paid about $13 for 1 protector. In my mind, it's worth it.

Others like the G2 protectors, which I've never tired.

I've used Brando's since the Visor days and the product works very very well. Their material also has the same spec as Boxwave's and they charge only $9 including shipping.

if you run a quick search on Boxwave or screen protectors, you'll find lots of results. I love my Boxwave and am highly critical of screen view and usability, etc. The Boxwave passes for me with flying colors.

I'm a G2 user. Clear, easy to clean and smooth. And since I'm using the keyboard more and more, while still using Jot, I think it'll last a long time. Check it out.

    Good Luck

Yeah, DO NOT go with the Boxwave or G2.

    Dittos -

I've tried just about everything. G2s and Boxwaves are best in my opinion (haven't tried Brandos, hear they're the same as Boxwaves?).

I'm currently using Boxwaves, which are my all time favorite. But really comes down to personal preference.

I just got a boxwave. Very nice.

I am completely happy with my Boxwave. No regrets.

However, every time I open a new package with a screen protector inside (no matter what brand), my first impression is: "I paid x dollars for this little thing?"

After all, it is a 2" x 2" piece of plastic!
    Palm V-->Visor Deluxe-->Visor Prism-->Visorphone-->Treo 180-->Treo 600-->Treo 650 on Sprint-->Treo 700p-->Centro-->Diamond-->Pre-->HTC EVO 4g???!

When I first got the boxwave, I cleaned my screen as well as possible and applied the protector. By the end of the day I counted three different pieces of dust under the protector. And being the procrastinating anal/perfectionist that I am, I got a dustfree eyeglass cleaning cloth to wipe it clean and re-apply the protector. I followed Boxwaves instructions for removing the protector, which is use a piece of scotch and apply it to one of the corners of the protector and then simply pull back. The only problem was that the corner that I decided to use was slightly under the edge of the phone itself. Therefore, when I pulled it back, the edge of the protector got caught on the edge of the phone and warped that edge of the protector. Well, now that edge will not seal against the screen, and thus a bubble on that edge.

I wrote to Boxwave and they are going to give me 50% on my next purchase. Moral to the story, buy the 3pack and save yourself some money and headache. The is definitely a case of operator error. The boxwave itself is great.

i've been using protectors from www.purplemoo.com. The newer models are extremely clear and pretty durable. When applied it looks like there is no protector on your screen. Comes in affordable pack of 4.

I finally broke down and bought a 'real' screen protector from Brando. I used to use a clear plastic vinyl and the difference is amazing.

With the Brando's in place, I can't even tell that I have a screen protector. Extremely clear, no bubbles, and very touch sensitive.

The only downside from my experience was the first ones they sent (from Hong Kong) got lost in the mail. But when I notified them that I hadn't received mine yet, they promptly sent out another one.

    Overall, a very wise investment.

I'm using the G2 and can't even notice that it's on there.
People who see my phone don't know there's a screen protector on there either. I don't notice any interference of difficulty using the stylus with it on. I'd recommend G2 to whomever is considering it.

I prefer NuShields. It is not a sticker. It is a shield. I have used them for about a year. They just announced that they are making them for the Treo 600.

I just got my javoedge screen protector and it has turned out to be quite good. A little wiping cloth is included so thats nice. Still can't get over the price of these things either though. *ouch*

p.s. nushield has been spamming the treo mailing lists with fake user reports so avoid them like the pest.

Found this review of seven most popular screen protectors.

Based on this, I just ordered a 3-pack of Boxwave protectors for my soon to be arriving Treo 600/Sprint.

Okay, following Gfunk's trouble of not being able to reapply it without warping it permanently, the Boxwave isn't something I can support. If I want to gamble on something I'll head to the casino. Is there anything that's nearly as good, that doesn't have the downside of potentially being thrown in the trash?
