1. 12/06/2003, 10:06 AM Hi, My Treo 300's synchronization data is under C:\Program Files\Handspring\Treo. What will the directory name be for the Treo 600? Instead of upgrading from the Treo 300 to 600 (following the HS site's instructions) I want to keep the Treo 300 synchronization data so I could HotSync both Treo 300 and Treo 600 to the same computer. HS customer service said that the subdirectory name under C:\Program Files\Handspring\ is the device's name (i.e., "Sprinter") but I found that not to be the case. Has anybody tried to retain the Treo 300 while adding the Treo 600?
2. 12/06/2003, 10:13 AM sprinter should be: C:\Program Files\Handspring\sprinter. i would assume that if you pick a new name for the 600, it should be C:\Program Files\Handspring\newname. Felipe On the road to 5,000 posts Life is what happens between Firmware releases.
3. 12/06/2003, 10:42 AM Originally posted by Felipe sprinter should be: C:\Program Files\Handspring\sprinter. Yeah, that's what HS claims but for some reason instead oC:\Program Files\Handspring\sprinter I have C:\Program Files\Handspring\Treo. I wonder if during the installation of the Treo 300 software it gave me the option of specifying the directory name. i would assume that if you pick a new name for the 600, it should be C:\Program Files\Handspring\newname. So what is your directory name?
