Many of you probably already know about this, but doing a search on the forums turned up nothing and I thought this information may be helpful.

For those that use T-Mobile, you might be interested to know about http://myemail.t-mobile.com/html With this service you can set up an SMTP account with T-Mobile and also get both POP3 and IMAP email (yes, even with SSL) using the standard Handspring Treo 600 Mail program or any other POP3 only email app.

The T-Mobile service will retrieve the email for you and transfer it over the POP3 protocol to your phone. So, independent of your server's protocol, you can always use the Mail program. This is especially helpful to those of us who use IMAP but would also like to use an email application that only supports POP3.
