I've tried with three different headsets to get the headset switchhook (the button that hangs up a call on *most* cell phones) to work on my Treo 600, but it doesn't.

It worked with my Treo 300.

Does it work for anyone else? Is it a loose nut in front of the keyboard, or is there an issue here?

Thanks in advance for the help!

    Lots of looks, no takers...

Does anyone have a switchhook on their headset? Am I the only one?

Oh... I just got a Plantronix MX-153-N1. Fantastic headset. Love it.

    FONMaster,

I think the MX-153-N1 is a "Nokia" style 4-pole headset (3 black on-conductive bands and 4 conductive metal bands). I'm surprised it works on the T600. But the answer button doesn't work because it is 4-pole.

The T600 uses a 3-pole (2 nonconductive bands - three conduct bands) headset like the Plantronics universal headsets.

I'm looking for a 3-pole, universal, boom mike, mic mute switch and answer button.

If I find any, I'll keep you posted.

I'm happy with my Jabra in-ear with boom. No answer button. But might be interested in one that has it.

However, I had to cut around the outside of the boot to make it fit onto the Treo's headset jack.
