Posting instructions is never wrong. While I disagree that the driver was included in the license, showing that driver could be used without the targeted component is neither wrong nor a crime, nor civily actionable.

This is not a method of circumventing an anti-piracy measure, because it does not tap any of WirelessModem's subsystems on the Treo, it uses Handspring's Tethered Mode. If, you believe that the driver was originally intended to be part of the license, then I encourage you to buy the software.

But, once more, demonstrating how to do something is not a crime, unless it is showing how to circumvent an anti-piracy measure, which my procedure does not do.

How did I ever let this thread go on so long (in the wrong forum at that)? Locked.
