    Hi Gang,
I'm a happy owner of the Sprint Treo 300. Thinking about moving to the 600.

My biggest irritation on the 300 is dialing phone extensions. No problem for speed dial numbers, just for the 2000 numbers in my phone book. After selecting a name and number and hitting the space bar, the number begins dialing. BUT there is no display of the extension and it doesn't have the option to automatically dial.

Any changes to this on the 600?
    Thanks,
    Jeff

You can use TAKEphONE on both devices to handle those 2000 numbers the same way as speed-dial.

Hmm... that looks interesting. Can the extension marker be a "," instead of an "x"? Would the sinch process between my PC contact organizer and the Treo be exactly the same?
    Thanks,
    Jeff

I am using the built-in address-book, so there should be no change in the sync.

You can use 'p' in stead of the 'x' to get the "extra digits" effect,
a ',' will be dialed as a timed pause.
