Treo Butler actually sends a 'page down key' which is different from the rocker down key.

Unfortunately in this case - the memo pad & calendar handle a pagedown event as a single line down.

You need an app that effectively simulates a tap on the down arrow.

    Good luck!

Using VolumeRocker, when I have jog mode disabled, each button press yields two lines/items of motion. When jog mode is enable, I get one line per press as it should be - any ideas?

confusedvorlon - - thanks for your reply...however, I'm not sure that this is correct. I have my Palm m505 in front of me, and in memopad the down keys does a full page down.

In calendar, the down key goes to the next day (in the day view). But if you are looking at an attached note to an event, the down key does do a full page down.

I really miss the ability to do this on the Treo.......

Love the product. Paid for it just for the ability to turn off the annoying LED. The problem is that it starts back up again. I'm not sure if it happens on a Soft Reboot or it's just doing it. When I go back into Treo Butler and then go to turn the LED off again. It's already depressed. I have to turn it off and then turn it back on again.

I would love a fix for this as the LED is very annoying at night.

    Thanks

Ok.. It looks like it does reset the LED when there is a soft reset. Is there a newer version out that doesn't do this?

    Thanks

Would be nice to have an app that just shuts this damn thing off permanently. I know there is another thread on here indicating that someone is working on an app to control the LED color and flashrate for messages waiting...

treobutler is really cool. i got it for the LED control tho. So, now that we know the LED can actually be controlled by the OS, somebody please figure out how to control it for events. It would be great if it would turn red when charging, green when full, and flash one or the other color real fast when you have a message....you know, like in chatter. I wish it would do that for any missed event, like my alarms, VM, SMS, etc.

Hi Folks - just wanted to let you know that the latest version of treobutler can basically shut the LED off permanently. The new version re-installs iteslf after a reset - so disable LED should be a little more permanent!

I would like to have the buttons available for assingment. Specifically I would like to assign a button to open favorites. I still miss the way my Treo 300 would automatically default to my speed dials. Is this possible?

I'm not sure how you would launch and open favourites programatically. If anyone has any ideas - I'd be happy to try and write the program.

I totally need this function!! My old Sanyo cellphone would flash a red LED when a voicemail was waiting. Now if I miss the ring, I don't know a voicemail is waiting unless i turn on the screen. Any way to make the voicemail alert repeat every 10 minutes?

Do any of these apps allow me to use one of the volume buttons to ignore an incoming call? The case I am using does not allow me to access the power button easily.

    Thanks

One problem with VolumeRocker is that it doesn't work with ZLauncher when Center Nav is selected. It's something to do with the release center 5-way not being passed.
