I phoned T-Mobile today and purchased insurance for my new Treo 600 at $3.99/mo. No problems.

Interestingly, the insurance isn't activated until you make at least 1 call with the sim card in the phone. Apparently, the phone sends its IMEI number to T-Mobile to register it on the network as the covered phone.

I'm sure the problems will surface when an "unfortunate accident" occurs to your phone...
