I hear that the PTT (push to talk) launch date for Sprint is on December 1st. I also know that Sprint will have new phones that support it, as well as some software updates for phones bought before December 1st to support it.
Any word on if the Treo 600 will have an update of some sort?

Not happening. There are some rumors that Sprint's going to offer upgrade incentives to existing customers for some of the new PTT phones that are coming out. Rumor has it that you don't have to have had your phone for the last 18 months like the current upgrade plan for existing customers. Also, I think the software upgrades for old phones is just rumor. It's highly unlikely Sprint will do software upgrades on older phones for several reasons including lack of man power to do them and the potential liability of frying a phone because of a bad upgrade.
