to add alternate numbers to contacts. Currently, if the new alt number comes in. I go to call log, copy it, go to contacts, type in my letters to get to the contact, click edit then paste. There has to be a easier way then this, and if not is there a app that would perform a function, like : new # comes in, you click on it and you get options to save to old contact automatically?.

the TAKEphONE app has an add-on that will highlight a number anywhere, and put it into a contact in the address book. But I think it defaults to opening a new contact, not an existing one.

    Hi,

This is an interesting feature - I will try to add it.

    OK.

Here is what you can ALREADY do form the existing version
    (at my site ):

    - From TAKEphONE's call-history tab, when you highlight an entry, you can select "Do/Copy to CREATE form" from the menu, and the entry details (number and name if exists) will be copied to the "Dial/Create" form. From there you can add it as a NEW record to the address-book.

    - Or - in the same call-history form, tap "Details" to show all record's details, and tap the "Copy" button next to the number.
Now lookup the contact in the FIND form, and enter it's "Details" form. The number is in the clipboard, so you just select an available phone field and paste it there.
