    Here's my custom-built Treo-friendly blog:

    http://www.trip23.com/mobileshots/De...aspx?pagenum=4

And no, I don't allow comments. Damn the torpedoes!

(Well, really, I've so far been too lazy to code support for comments. Shhh. Don't tell anyone. I'd rather cultivate an image as a misanthrope....)

Something you might want to know about textamerica: Item no. 14 on their terms of service state that:

"Textamerica.com may use, sell and/or share with its affiliates any information provided by you on this website, including your name, e-mail address, usage patterns, and uploaded images and text."

This may or may not bother you, but it's definitely something one should be aware of before using it.

    Hey Mobloggers,

Does anyone know the code to create those cool Scrolling Text lines in the individual TA moblog homepages?

    Thanks

Who woulda' thought my professed being a chocoholic would turn into an Editor's Pick on TextAmerica for 05/29/04. The T-shirt I got from SaxyHC during his trip to Hawaii a few years ago (they actually sell the t-shirts dipped in chocolate and the scent lasted after several washings) must have been than extra boost as I was moblogging yesterday.

Wow, where can you get t-shirts that smell like chocolate? This would be a perfect gift for a friend of mine ...

    Thanks,

Looks like they have changed the design...it looks "cleaner" which takes away from the effect...

Here's a description from the website:

Sweet! Lasting longer that "a moment on the lips" is our yummy T-Shirt, Hawaii-dyed naturally in real Ghirardelli chocolate. Delicious designs are printed on these dark, rich crews that will stay that way permanently. You'll still catch the seductive scent of chocolate for the first couple of washings.

Even further OT -- we went to Buca di Beppo's for dinner tonight and had the chocolate cannoli with chocolate Sambuca sauce -- my hubby liked the cannoli pastry shell, my youngest couldn't get enough of the pistachio topping and I couldn't get enough of the chocolate sauce...my husband joked and said that I should have just ordered a saucer full of chocolate for dessert instead....yeah, I got it bad ;0

Another TextAmerica fanatic here. I use it whenever i'm too impatient to copy something down, like a phone number, recipe from magazines, names/picture/price of products i'm shopping for (although I got yelled at from my local Fry's) or whatever else I would normally jot down on a piece of paper.

    Kudo's to TextAmerica!

One of the things that I loved about TextAmerica was its RSS feed.. I had my five latest TextAmerica images displayed on my homepage automatically. Really cool stuff.

TextAmerica has since removed this feature and has said nothing about when it will return. Bummer.

The family loves Textamerica. You can even sign up for updates so when a new pic is posted, you get an email with links saying that a new image was posted.

I set up my own Treo-friendly blog site just for me. But in the end I just switched to TextAmerica. More features than I could catch up with, really easy to use, works great.
